Season is getting busier and busier! Fishing is gradually getting hotter and hotter!
Right now this time of year the we are finishing up little spurts of cold fronts in south Florida! These cold fronts help sometimes stall the tarpon migration so they group up thicker in Everglades National park! Helps keep the bait run going! EVERGLADES NATIONAL PARK FISHING CHARTERS Last few trips the weather has been great with occasional day of more wind then normal which isn’t a problem! Early morning and mid day have been spectacular for Tarpon fishing. We set out early in morning and if water temps are cooler then we target snook and redfish on the flats or in and around the mangroves. Then once that water temp reaches the right temp it’s time to switch gears and go chase the silver! The trout bite in flamingo has been spectacular usually the by catch while fishing for tarpon! The snook bite continue to be steady and tides are starting to fill in more so making sight fishing better and better! ISLAMORADA FISHING CHARTERS With islamorada being close to Everglades national park that makes it easier to chase bonefish and shoot over to chase snook redfish and tarpon. This past week we had some nice days where we were able to sight fish those early migration tarpon on the bay! Once the wind picked up it made it harder to sight fish then and that’s when we transition to running the extra 15 mins to chase tarpon on the flamingo side of the bay! However bonefishing has been amazing! Smaller fish but schooled up and hungry especially on the right tide! Whether we are throwing fly or tossing jig at them we have had multiple fish days! We have came across a few permit doing there thing in the deeper water but as the water temps rise these fish will be happy and showing up more on the flat! BISCAYNE BAY FISHING CHARTERS Biscayne bay is an interesting place offering bonefish and permit with juvenile tarpon around! However when the migration starts to happen this will be a great place to put it all together! Bone fishing has been spectacular in Biscayne bay! The bay seems to be holding bigger bonefish then the upper middle keys. But they can be tricky at times! But the permit love the flats here with the water flow and the reef and wrecks not being far allows them to come in and feed and jump right back out to the wrecks. Although we offer fishing in Everglades national park, Biscayne bay and islamorada. We also do trips to chase peacock bass and large mouth bass in fly and spin! The bite has been great for peacocks! This week Austin had a group chasing peacocks. They did great with largemouth and catching so decent size peacocks! As the weather starts to normalize and the water temps get back to regular fishing will get better and better!
