CAPT. RYAN BOOTH
I am Captain Ryan Booth and I am a South Florida native that grew up fishing the southern part of Florida and the Florida Keys. My passion for fishing began when I was able to walk and my father brought me out targeting the backcountry species. Growing up with a father that grew up fishing the everglades, I was born with love of the glades in my blood. The addiction for backcountry species started the first day I landed my first Snook. It was a day I will never forget..trying to pull that fish in. I spent many weekends out on the water chasing different species and fell in love with the sport. The moment I was of age to drive, I started towing what ever boat me and my buddies could get our hands on to go fishing that day. I have a strong love and passion for chasing the species of the backcountry: redfish, snook, tarpon, bonefish, and permit.

After graduating from high school I took some time off to go to college and follow my golf career. I ended up turning pro for a short time after graduating college. One morning I woke up and felt a piece of me was missing and decided that I needed to get back to fishing the flats, which was my true passion. Every day that I am out on the water I realize how blessed I am to be able to do what I love for a living. I enjoy being able to watch others enjoy the same thing I do and teach them all there is to know about out sport. I look forward to getting you out on the water and chasing your dream species and having a blast while doing it.
VESSEL: 2017 HELL'S BAY PROFESSIONAL 17.8
From the first day I started guiding full time I was blessed to become a part of the Hell’s Bay Boatworks family. After purchasing the Hell’s Bay Waterman and guiding a few years out of it, I decided to sell it and move into a Hell’s Bay Professional. This skiff is sexy but yet extremely fishy! It is by far the best technical poling skiff I have ever owned. She provides a comfortable ride in all conditions, she floats super shallow, she stable and very quite, and she is fast. This allows us to sneak up to those unsuspecting fish easily and make those long runs in comfort and style!
